Transatlantic Megatrends: Trade Ties & Frayed Ties

The Weldon J. Taylor Executive Lecture Series at Westminster College is hosting Michael Maibach, president and CEO of the European-American Business Council , Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Vieve Gore Concert Hall in the Jewett Center for the Performing Arts and Emma Eccles Jones Conservatory.

Maibach will discuss “Transatlantic Megatrends: Trade Ties & Frayed Ties.” The lecture is free and open to the public. Michael Maibach has been President and CEO of the European-American Business Council (EABC) since 2003. The EABC is an independent global business association of 75 companies with a win-win philosophy that supports unrestricted transatlantic investment and trade between the United States and Europe. Prior to heading EABC, Maibach served as Vice President of Government Affairs at Intel Corporation from 1983-2001. He holds several degrees and has published dozens of essays on business, trade, technology, and government.
