Launching a business is no small feat. It requires finding the right niche, the right people, and the right funding. It also demands a great physical, emotional, and financial investment -- sometimes putting everything on the line to chase your dream. With this risk, however, comes great reward: the chance to become your own boss and do what you love.
If you are starting or thinking of starting a business, Zions Business Resource Center is hosting a free Accelerator Program for start-ups. The Accelerator Program is a nine-week course that runs from Jan. 23 to March 13. There are currently two sessions being scheduled: an afternoon session from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. beginning on Jan. 23, and a morning session from 9 a.m. to noon beginning on Jan. 24. Each session meets once a week to review the online progress of a business development program that can help entrepreneurs establish an optimal path in which to start their business opportunity.
This is an in-depth process that includes access to mentors during the entire nine-week schedule. There is no cost for this program but registration is mandatory, as is a commitment to the full program. Please contact William H. Brown, DooBizz Accelerator Program Director, at 801-824-8685 or whbrown@DooBizz.com for more details and information regarding the Accelerator Program.
