The Wayne Brown Institute is hosting a “Deal Forum” on May 31st for High Tech and Life Sciences companies seeking capital. The presenting companies have been selected and entrepreneurs seeking capital are encouraged to come watch, learn and network.

The “Deal Forum” is an event hosted monthly by WBI. Selected companies enter the WBI Venture Funding Program where they receive directed mentoring by investors and other venture professionals in order to hone their deal to successfully raise capital. They will learn to make positive first impressions, discover networking opportunities, experience real-world feedback, and accelerate the quest for capital.

With the help of WBI and VentureCapital.org, a company’s prospects of raising money are greatly enhanced. There have been three companies selected to present for this upcoming Deal Forum.

Presenting companies:

K12 Prosthetics- K12’s goal is to create and manufacture advanced prosthetic limbs to enable the most active and healthy lifestyles possible for amputees.

Knudra Transgenics- Knudra’s goal is to lessen the burden in EkaTox, a predictive biology platform for discovering sample toxicity.

Salt Stack- has developed one of the fastest growing cloud automation systems available today.

This is a great opportunity for individuals and companies who are seeking capital or will be in the future to come learn and network. Admission will be $10.

The “Deal Forum” will be held at the Zions Bank Founders Room on the 18th Floor of the Zions Bank Building located at 1 South Main Street in Salt Lake City, UT 84111.
