RADAR, a Salt Lake City based company, will be one of the four presenters at the Deal Forum at Zions Bank Founder Room in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Tuesday, October 11 presented by the Wayne Brown Institute and VentureCapital.Org.  The Deal Forum provides start-up and early-stage companies with venture-based mentoring and advice from venture professionals that are imperative to help accelerate their growth.

Companies were selected on several factors, including having a credible expectation of doing $30-$100 million USD a year in sales in three to seven years and management with relevant experience.

RADAR seeks to put the tools of Post Film Production into state-of-the-art mobile facilities.

Their purpose is to dramatically improve the way film and television producers handle digital content during the critical stage of principle photography, saving them time and money.  RADAR believes that continuing advances in resolution and image quality of digital cameras has caused the amount of data to explode.  A production today can generate one terabyte of data per day.  3D production doubles that. Current on-set solutions, like laptops and equipment carts, are increasingly unable to keep pace and are causing crew numbers to swell - further driving up costs and risks for multi-million dollar productions.

Therefore, digital producers are demanding a new paradigm for production, one that will finally enable them to take full advantage of the digital revolution.  This specific market is seen to be worth $1.3 billion per year.  Post-Production is around $4 billion per year, RADAR sees mobility as playing a big role in the future.

RADAR was recently awarded Cine Gear Technical Award for Post-Production by Paramount Studios in June 2011.

RADAR will be among the hundred of other companies who have participated in the Institute’s rigorous and refining mentoring process on presenting themselves more effectively and are gaining insight from venture professionals on raising capital. These companies will be questioned by a panel of investors, who will help shape them into becoming viable investments. The panelists have significant experience in the angel/venture world and are ready to share their insight and wisdom with the presenting companies and the audience.

The two hour event will commence on October 11th at 3:30pm. The Forum will be held at  Zions Bank Founder Room Located on the 18th floor at One S. Main St. Salt Lake City, UT 84111.
