Salt Lake Community College Holds Evening of Honor

Salt Lake Community College is holding its 2011 Evening of Honor Scholarship Dinner on May 4, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in Ballrooms B & C of the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City.

Musician, Author, and SLCC alumnus Paul Cardall will be presented with an honorary doctorate degree by Jesselie Anderson, Chair of the SLCC Board of Trustees. Dr. Kelly K. Matthews, former Executive Vice President of Wells Fargo Bank, will be presented with an honorary doctorate degree by Gail Miller Vice Chair of the SLCC Board of Trustees.

The College Board of Trustees will recognize Utah State Senate President Michael Waddoups, and Utah State Senator Lyle Hillyard as Legislative Champions.

The College will recognize Pete Ashdown, owner of Salt Lake City-based Internet Service Provider, XMission, and Rebecca Jensen Chief Executive Officer of UtahRealEstate.com and the Wasatch Front Regional Multiple Listing Service as Distinguished Alumni.
