Westminster's Institute for New Enterprise will conclude its 2009 Lectures in Entrepreneurship series on Wednesday, April 15, with three diverse speakers: Mike Levinthal, managing director of Levinthal Capital, Christopher Michael, an entrepreneur and advocate for military service people, and Dan Clark, the primary contributor to the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. The lectures are free and open to the public and will be held in the Gore Auditorium in the Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business.

Mike Levinthal is the founder and managing director of Levinthal Capital. He has over 26 years of experience in venture capital investing. He has supported and advised numerous business successes including Altiris, Citrix, Concur Technologies, Heartstream, Pure Software and WebMethods. He currently sits on the board of Applabs, Cirrus Data Management, Forever Young Foundation, High West Distillery, Infopia, Interplast, Metricstream, and 3point5.
Chris Michael is the founder and former CEO of Affinity Labs, a company that builds online communities for its members (Affinitylabs.com). In January 2008, Affinity Labs was acquired by Monster Worldwide. Prior to founding Affinity, Michael founded Military.com, the nation's largest military membership organization, which was also acquired by Monster. Michael also served as a Naval Flight Officer in the United States Navy and later worked in the Pentagon as Aide to the Chief of the Naval Reserve. An advocate for those who serve, Michael is a frequent speaker and has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Business Week, Financial Times, and other publications. He is also a regular guest on CNN and other national radio and TV programs. In addition, he is the author of The Military Advantage (Simon & Schuster 2006).
Dan Clark is the CEO of a multimillion dollar corporation, an internationally recognized speaker, and a New York Times best-selling author. In the past twenty-five years, he has spoken to more than 4,000 audiences and to over 3.5 million people in all 50 states and in 35 countries. "Achievers North America" and "Achievers Europe" named Clark one of the "Top Ten Speakers in the World." In 2005, he was inducted into the "National Speakers Association Hall of Fame." Clark is the primary contributing author to the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series and author of twenty of his own best-selling books.
