Join thousands of Utahns Saturday, April 30 at the National MS Society’s Annual Walk MS 2011, presented by Questar, as they make strides to raise awareness and funds to create a world free of multiple sclerosis. The Salt Lake City Walk MS, taking place at the Gateway mall, is part of a three-city event in Utah. MS is an unpredictable often disabling disease of the central nervous system. It is known as a ‘prime of life’ disease typically striking people between 20-50 years old but more and more children are being diagnosed. Every hour someone is newly diagnosed with 2.1 million worldwide impacted by the disease and 400,000 Americans. Utah has one of the highest incident rates in the country with approximately 1 in 300 people believed to be living with MS. Join the movement!
