Investors Enlighten Entrepreneurs on How to Get Their Money

Larry Rigby, Ronald White and Brad Bertoch, three well known active investors in the state of Utah, will be educating and answering questions for entrepreneurs at free local event titled "How to Raise Money." On Wednesday June 13th the Holland & Hart law firm in downtown Salt Lake City will be hosting this event and hopes to help entrepreneurs get funded and succeed.

Larry Rigby brings years of life science and entrepreneurial expertise to local businesspeople and entrepreneurs. He has founded multiple companies including Larada Science and ZARS Pharma and is now an active investor with the Salt Lake Life Science Angels.

Ronald White shares his secrets of how to create a successful business though his experience in financing seven companies through their IPO’s. More recently Ronald co-founded and invests with one of the biggest active groups of Utah investors, the SLC Angels.

Brad Bertoch of the WBI Angels, the second most active angel group in the state of Utah, will share his knowledge and expertise on how to raise capital. Brad was a co-founder of MountainWest Capital network and through the years has advised over 700 tech companies in the capital raising process.

Matthew Thorne, an expert business lawyer with the law firm Holland and Hart, will be discussing the law involved in the fundraising process. He has advised many clients through angel, venture capital, and private equity investments on deals ranging from several thousand dollars to hundreds of millions of dollars.

The “How to Raise Money” seminar will be an open Q&A setting. The two-hour event will begin on June 13th at 3:30 p.m. at Holland and Hart 222 S Main St. suite 2200 Salt Lake City, UT 84101.
