For the third consecutive year, Human Resource Executive magazine and online legal news and rankings site, Lawdragon, have named Michael Patrick O’Brien of Jones Waldo one of the nation’s 100 most powerful employment attorneys. And for the third year in a row, O’Brien was the only Utah attorney named to the list. The selection process included a year-long editorial research process and review of applications from hundreds of law firms across the country.

O’Brien is a shareholder and former chair of the Litigation department at Jones Waldo, one of Utah’s most enduring and prestigious law firms, and he currently leads Jones Waldo’s Employment Law Practice Group.

This acknowledgment comes on the heels of having just been named a “Super Lawyer” by Mountain States Super Lawyers magazine, in addition to recognition from Utah Business, Best Lawyers, Martindale-Hubbell, the Chamber USA, and The Best Lawyers in America.
