Coldwell Banker Commercial today announced its involvement managing a new landmark corporate headquarters relocation and expansion deal with Xactware, a leading provider of software solutions and services for property claims and underwriting professionals. The transaction gives Xactware the ability to significantly expand its corporate headquarters. Xactware plans to move staff to the new Traverse Mountain commercial complex in Lehi by early 2014.

A long-term lease for the new 210,000 square-foot office space was exclusively brokered by Coldwell Banker Commercial’s Brandon Fugal. The location will offer employees a state-of-the-art work environment and data center including beach volleyball courts, basketball courts, and a fitness center.

Excited by the growth potential this transaction brings to northern Utah County, Coldwell Banker Commercial’s Brandon Fugal said, “This transaction has great potential to attract other Fortune 500 companies to the North Utah County area, which could further ignite economic growth in Utah and surrounding communities. This type of transaction is exactly what Utah and our country need right now given the current economic doldrums.”

Randy Owen, Coldwell Banker Commercial’s COO in Utah, added, “The entire Coldwell Banker Commercial organization, not just in Utah but nationwide, is extremely pleased about Brandon’s leadership in the office brokerage industry. Brandon continues to be one of the country’s top office brokers. Handling the recent Xactware lease transaction is a significant piece of economic activity for the entire region and confirms the experience and professionalism of Fugal and his team.”

The Xactware office lease kicks off the eventual 2 million square foot Traverse Mountain office park development. Xactware intends to double its work force as part of its headquarters move from Orem to Lehi.
