Jakob Marketing Partners wins the Alfred P. Sloan Award

Jakob Marketing Partners was recognized as one of only thirteen companies in Utah presented with the 2012 Alfred P. Sloan award for Excellence in Effectiveness and Flexibility. The company scored in the top 20 percent of organizations applying for the national award and will be featured in the next edition of the Guide to Bold New Ideas for Making Work Work.

JMP CEO Julie Jakob has implemented several workplace initiatives to focus on the importance of workplace flexibility to increase effectiveness and yield positive results for her company.

“When a business has employee-friendly policies, morale is significantly improved which leads to greater creativity and more effective use of time,” Jakob said. “I want my employees to succeed, both at work and at home, and we do everything we can to make that happen.”

The Alfred P. Sloan award recognizes employers across all industries that are successfully using flexibility strategies to enhance productivity, employee satisfaction and job performance. Last month, Jakob Marketing Partners was ranked for the second year in a row as one of the fastest-growing companies in the nation by Inc. magazine and was recognized by the Mountain West Capital Network for the third year in a row as one of the fastest growing companies in Utah.
