Five attorneys from Parr Brown Gee & Loveless have been recognized as “Lawyers of the Year” in their respective practice areas by The Best Lawyers in America 2013. Only a single lawyer in each practice area and designated metropolitan area is honored as the “Lawyer of the Year,” making this accolade particularly significant.

The five attorneys and the areas in which they are recognized include the following:

·         Bryan Allen, Private Funds/Hedge Funds Law

·         David Gee, Real Estate Law

·         Jeffrey Hunt, Litigation – First Amendment

·         Brian Lloyd, Mergers & Acquisitions Law

·         Ronald Russell, Litigation – Land Use & Zoning

Lawyers being honored as “Lawyer of the Year” are selected based on voting averages received during exhaustive peer-review assessments conducted with thousands of leading lawyers each year. Receiving this designation reflects the high level of respect a lawyer has earned among other leading lawyers in the same communities and the same practice areas for their abilities, their professionalism and their integrity.

“These five attorneys represent the best of the best in their respective practice areas,” said Heidi Leithead, president and shareholder with Parr Brown Gee & Loveless. “The results they are able to achieve for our clients and the respect they have in the legal community are also a reflection of their professionalism and expertise.”

Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which 36,000 leading attorneys cast 4.4 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”
