The Summit Group Communications recently named Christy Whitehouse and James Rabdau as partners in the firm, joining current partners Bill Paulos and Todd Wolfenbarger.
The expanding management roles are reflective of the explosive growth the agency has experienced over the past decade. TSG now consists of nearly 80 marketing professionals with business locations in Utah, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida.
“James and Christy have been vital in the progress and growth of the agency,” said Bill Paulos, founder and partner/CEO. “Their promotions to partner are reflective of the changing face of the agency and will be catalysts toward achieving our ambitious growth plans for the future. We firmly believe the best days for TSG lie ahead of us.”
“I can’t think of anyone I think of more highly professionally or in whom I have greater trust,” said Todd Wolfenbarger partner/president. “Both are extremely talented and curious minds who love our industry and our clients. They are exceptional leaders and have universal respect from the TSG team.”
Whitehouse joined TSG in 2005 following a successful career in consulting, corporate marketing and agency leadership with Dahlin, Smith and White where she worked on the Intel brand. While at TSG she has led the account services team and in 2008 launched TSG’s digital services practice. In 2009, she was recognized as Advertising Professional of the Year by the American Advertising Federation Utah Chapter and was recently recognized as one of Utah’s Forty Under 40.
Rabdau previously had served as the agency’s VP of Creative Services and joined the agency in 2004. He has served as a creative director for Dahlin, Smith and White and for several highly-regarded design boutiques in Atlanta, Georgia. He has worked with international clients, won numerous ADDY and AIGA awards and his work has appeared in HOW Magazine, Print Magazine, Creativity and AR100 among others.
Paulos and Wolfenbarger also announced last Friday that Sharon Roux, chief operating officer, and Jordan Howe, director of advertising account services, were promoted to vice presidents of the agency.
Roux has been with the agency since 2007 and serves as the director of human resources in her capacity as COO along with overseeing IT, facilities, administration management and finance. She has shaped the growth of the agency through strategic recruiting and the creation of new systems that increase efficiency and productivity.
Howe, joined the agency in 2007, and leads the agencies largest team in account services. Previous to TSG, he developed channel marketing expertise with Ingram Micro and has international marketing expertise having sourced, developed and marketed products with partnerships in China.
“The expertise and wisdom Sharon and Jordan have brought to the firm is immeasurable,” continued Paulos. “Their contributions are countless and their dedication is unmatched; we’re honored to recognize them with this distinction.”
